The China 45 ranks Chinese law firms by revenue, revenue per lawyer and profits per equity partner. ALM Intelligence gathered the data and compiled the charts. We asked Chinese firms to report their gross revenue for calendar year 2019 and the number of full-time-equivalent (FTE) lawyers at the firms during the same time period. In those few cases where firms did not provide census or financial figures, our reporters made estimates based on their own reporting.
Revenue figures were converted to dollars using the average annual conversion rate as published by the U.S. Federal Reserve and are rounded to the nearest $1,000.
