The UK top 50 ranks global law firms by revenue, with the data gathered and charts compiled by Law.com Internationals editorial team and Legal Intelligence. The firms included are the 50 largest UK-headquartered law firms, ordered by revenues taken in during the most recent financial year. Revenues for firms which report in dollars or euros were converted to pounds using the average annual conversion rate as published HM Revenue & Customs.
Law.com International implemented a new qualification for the UK Top 50 in 2022, which has a significant impact on the ranking. In order to qualify for the ranking a firm must have more lawyers in the UK than in any other single country.
